TIMIflow ("we," "our," "us") is a cardiovascular disease board exam preparation platform operated by Dr. Saro Avedikian. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service at timiflow.com.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Usage Data: We collect data about how you use TIMIflow, including:

Questions attempted and answers selected
Performance scores and accuracy metrics
Flagged questions and personal notes you create
Block history and study preferences
Time spent on questions

Technical Data: We collect standard technical information including browser type, device type, and general usage patterns. We do not collect IP addresses for tracking purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the TIMIflow service
To track your study progress and generate performance analytics
To enable features like spaced repetition, flagged question review, and personalized study recommendations
To improve our question bank and platform
To communicate with you about your account or service updates

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), hosted in the United States. Firebase provides enterprise-grade security including encryption at rest and in transit. Your study progress data is accessible only to your authenticated account.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

Service Providers: We use Google Firebase for authentication and data storage, and may use Stripe for payment processing. These providers have their own privacy policies.
Aggregate Data: We may use anonymized, aggregate performance data (e.g., "65% of users answered this question correctly") to improve question quality and display answer distributions. This data cannot identify individual users.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

6. Your Rights

You may:

Access your personal data by viewing your profile and study history within the app
Request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us
Export your study data by contacting us

7. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser localStorage to store your theme preference (dark/light mode) and highlight settings. We use Firebase's authentication tokens stored in your browser. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

TIMIflow is intended for medical professionals and trainees. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
